Services. We investigate and reconstruct crashes and other vehicle-related incidents. Why?
These cases deserve attention, investigation, and competent analysis... We study crashes and the forensic evidence from crashes. Why? Your opinion carries more weight if you've seen it before... We conduct instrumented crash tests and vehicle forensics testing. Why? Your opinion carries even more weight if you've done it before... |

Crash ReconstructionYour analysis will be conducted by one of the most highly trained experts in the collision reconstruction industry. That training began in the days when physics principles were applied via hand calculations, requiring a true understanding of the underlying methodologies. Fast forward to modern times and collision reconstruction involves extensive use of digital data and computer simulations. Collision Forensics, Inc. is a leader in modern technologies - so much so, that we are asked to teach these techniques around the world.

Event Data Recorders (EDRs)EDRs, sometimes incorrectly referred to as "black boxes," have changed the investigative landscape for crash investigators. Many investigators complete a training course on the subject, but few actually study it, conduct research and testing, identify anomalies, or teach in the industry. Collision Forensics, Inc. has worked directly with automotive manufacturers and conducted testing side-by-side with them. We are regularly asked to give presentations and lectures on EDRs to audiences of law enforcement investigators, attorneys, engineers, and automotive manufacturers.

Vehicle System ForensicsThe most significant tool in automotive digital forensics is the iVe Ecosystem from Berla Corporation, which allows for the acquisition of key evidence from supported vehicles that may include historical locations and speed, hard braking and acceleration, the use of a connected phone for calls and/or messaging, etc. Collision Forensics, Inc. is an industry leader in gathering this evidence. We have conducted extensive research in this area and published peer-reviewed validation studies related to this the accuracy of data acquired with this technology.
